Hey guys!

I’m pretty busy right now, working on lots of stuff at the same time as well as studying for university.

Together with artist nudelZ I developed a script for a new and very efficient displacement-mapping workflow, in which we generate a UV-Map that maps each (face)-vertex to it’s own pixel on the map, but more on that later. :) While doing this we even discovered Blender can already use vector displacement maps! Altough only in world and not in object or tangent space, but it’s more than we hoped for. Maybe the tangent vector maps aren’t that hard to support? …
